Kim Kardashian breaks silence on hairstylist Jesus Guerrero’s sudden death and says ‘our souls are crushed’
KIM Kardashian has spoken out following the sudden death of Kylie Jenner’s longtime hairstylist and close friend Jesus Guerrero.
Jesus died aged 34 suddenly and unexpectedly, his younger sister Gris shared in an emotional statement on Saturday.
Breaking her silence today, a heartbroken Kim said: "Our glam fam means the world to us. We work together, vacation, and celebrate our lives together!
"Our great respect for the art of hair and makeup has led us to meeting some of the kindest souls and made some of our best friends."
The 44-year-old Kardashians star added: "So when one of our glam family members passes away, all of our souls are crushed.
"My heart breaks for Kylie and everyone who loved Jesus the way we all did.
"I’m praying for his family, his loved ones, and the whole beauty community who feels this deep loss of one of the most talented and kindest to ever do it. Rest in Peace @jesushair."
Los Angeles-based hairstylist Jesus began working with Kylie, 27, in 2019 and became a cherished part of her inner circle.
Just last month, he accompanied the beauty mogul to Paris for Fashion Week, where she walked the runway for Jean Paul Gaultier and attended the Chanel show.
Jesus's death was announced over the weekend. His cause of death has not yet been revealed.
A beloved figure in the celebrity beauty world, he worked with stars like Katy Perry, Jennifer Lopez, Demi Moore, Addison Rae, and Dua Lipa.
He often collaborated with Kylie's makeup artist, Ariel Tejada, who posted a heartbreaking tribute on Instagram, sharing his "pain" and reflecting on their years of friendship and artistry.
His devastated sister annouced his passing on Saturday and launched a GoFundMe page to help the family with funeral arrangements and bringing him back to their hometown of Houston, Texas.
She wrote: "My name is Gris, Jesus’s younger sister. It is with a heavy heart that we let the world know that Jesus Guerrero has gone to heaven. He is a son, a brother, an uncle, an artist, a friend, and so much more.
"Born and raised in Houston, TX, to immigrant parents, Jesus learned how to work hard and dreamt of taking his skills to the top.
"Unfortunately, his passing came very suddenly and unexpectedly.
"Currently, his family is taking care of his personal belongings and accommodations to bring him home to Houston.
"We hope that you find it in your heart to help in any way and/or share this GoFundMe."
Kylie, who lovingly called Jesus her “main girly,” has not yet publicly addressed his passing.
The two shared a close bond, with Kylie once joking on Instagram about a haircut: "@jesushair said he was giving me a trim and cut off all my hair."

Jesus' tragic passing came weeks after his trip with Kylie in January.
