‘Looks so fake,’ says Love Island fans as Anton and Georgia H reunite for first time since villa

LOVE Island fans have branded Anton Danyluk and Georgia Harrison’s reunion ‘fake’.

The 29-year-old pair, whose romance came under question in the villa, got together last night for the first time since arriving back in the UK and filmed it for fans.

In the video, posted by Georgia, she is seen sipping wine while Anton presents her with an expensive gift from Jo Malone.

Her famous pals rushed to congratulate her on finding happiness, but not everyone was so convinced.

One person remarked: “I am still not buying this.”

While someone else said: “Lool they’re not fooling me”, and another added: “Cringe nation.”

They were defended by fans, with one person commenting: “We love to see it!!! I didn't really understand the negative opinions this season. I wish you two all the best, I think you guys got what it takes.”

“I absolute love you guys together,” said someone else.

The video comes after Anton admitted his beloved mum Sherrie was initially ‘sceptical’ about Georgia.

The Scottish mummy's boy has previously admitted he takes relationship advice from Sherie-Ann and listens to her opinion on his girlfriends.

He admitted that things didn’t go so well when they video called her once back in the UK.

Appearing on Heart Scotland, he revealed: “She’d done a FaceTime with my mum…”

When asked how it went, Anton admitted: “It went as well as it could have went, hahaha!

"My mum’s obviously a little bit sceptical and Georgia was like, ‘Look, you’re rightly so. I get it, I one hundred per cent get it. But I’ll win you over.’

"And that’s what I love about Georgia, she’s got thick skin and if any girl can take my mum, it’s Georgia, trust me.”

While in the villa, Anton and Georgia were called out several times by fellow housemates who felt their romance was 'one-sided', including her pal Josh Ritchie.

Just a week before the final, Sherie-Ann admitted Anton - who is her only child - may need to call it quits with Georgia.

Asked by OK! magazine what advice she would give her boy, Sherie-Ann said: "I’d probably say, 'If you really like Georgia and are really serious, which you seem to be, just keep plugging away.

"'But don’t plug for too long, son. If she’s not into you, then she’s not into you.

"'You’ll feel it if she isn’t. If you think she’s worth it, then keep going. Just see how it goes'."

Sherie-Ann finished by confirming she needed to meet Georgia in the flesh before making a decision on whether she is 'The One' for her son.
