Garden Flowers has shared a recipe for their homemade plant food. It contains just three ingredients and is super-quick to make. But the benefits are long-lasting.
Ingredients:
- 1 pint of warm water
- 12 teaspoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon yeast powder
Method:
- Pour warm water into a large plastic jug
- Add the sugar and yeast and stir
- Transfer to a screwtop bottle
- After sealing and storing for 24 hours, the rooting water is ready
Use this, they said, "and any flower you raise will burst into pots."

Stir all the ingredients together in a container then transfer to a bottle.
