A HIT crime drama will be returning to screens for another series - before the latest season has even aired.
Fans of the popular ITV detective show have something to celebrate as the network has confirmed the renewal of the drama for a fourth series.
This comes before the highly anticipated third season even airs - scheduled to premiere later this year.
Professor T has captured viewers with its intriguing mysteries and captivating storytelling.
And now it's been announced that broadcasters PBS and ITV have teamed up once again for a new instalment.
The show will return to both UK and US screens for a run of six episodes.

The fourth series is set to pick up six months after the end of the third series, according to the Broadcast Magazine.
Ben Miller, 58, plays the role of Professor T himself, otherwise known as Jasper Tempest.
The actor is set to reprise his role as the quirky criminologist who solves mysterious cases in his own unique way.
Joining Miller in the upcoming seasons are returning cast members Harry Potter and The Goblet Of Fire actress, Frances de la Tour and Juliet Stevenson.
In the upcoming third season, Professor T finds himself in a tight spot at Cambridge University.
With his career at stake, he's locked up in prison and faces a big decision.
Jasper's mom Adelaide (Frances de La Tour) and his therapist Dr. Helena (portrayed by Juliet Stevenson) will be there to lend their support.
The team must push past their sorrow to take on a risky crime spree.
Elsewhere, DI Maiya Goswami (Sunetra Sarker) joins DS Dan Winters (White) to take control of the police force.
Speaking about the show, Ben Miller said: "There’s nothing out there quite like Professor T, with its unique mix of complex crimes and captivating characters, all set against the beautiful backdrop of Cambridge; the central enigma being the Professor himself… a mystery I hope to investigate for many seasons to come!"
The actor is best known for playing DI Richard Poole in the hit BBC drama, Death In Paradise.
His career also included the role of James Lester in the ITV science-fiction series Primeval.
