We took an old bungalow with an overgrown garden and transformed it into our dream home – people say it’s ‘house goals’
A COUPLE have shared their home renovation journey, after they bought an old unkempt bungalow and transformed it into their dream home.
The couple have shared insights into their home transformation on their TikTok channel @ournewbuildproject.
In clips showing what the property looked like when it was first purchased the bungalow is old fashioned, with an overgrown unkempt lawn at the front.
The property was very small and looked as though it hadn't been touched for a long time.
The couple decided to completely knock down the bungalow and build a new house from scratch.
The new house is enormous, with huge patio windows and a stylish black roof and cladding on the walls.

The downstairs of the house is open plan which makes the area feel incredibly spacious, and there are large windows in the ceiling of the kitchen, meaning the house has plenty of natural light.
The outside area of the house has been patio'd which will be perfect for BBQs on long summer nights.
Inside the house, the kitchen has a stylish cream, taupe and gold theme.
There is a large marble island in the middle of the room with an inbuilt hob and the taps and utensils are gold.
In the bathroom, the room is tiled in a similar marble style and there is a stunning free standing sink.
Similarly to the kitchen, the taps and towel rails are gold and the place is heated with underfloor heating.
TikTok users raced to the comments section of the TikToker's videos to share their thoughts on the home transformation.
One user said: "Wow, what a beautiful house".
Another user said: "House goals right there".
A third user added: "Very best of luck with your new home, I wish happiness, positivity and new memories."
