While it's not certain exactly what roast potato recipe Paris followed, family favourite chef Jamie Oliver previously took to TikTok to reveal how he cooks roast potatoes.

Jamie posted a video alongside the caption ‘11/10 roast potato recipe,’ and commented: “Perfect roast potato - crispy outside and fluffy inside.”

“I've got them parboiling here in salted boiling water.

“Cook them for about 10 minutes.

“As you can see, they're just kind of thinking about breaking up.

“Pour it into the colander.

“Add a tablespoon of oil, a swig of red wine vinegar.”

Jamie then gave the the potatoes a quick shake in the colander and added: “Look what I'm doing. See how I've beaten that up?

“So I'm gonna cook these in an oven at about 180/190, which is about 350 Fahrenheit, over the period of about 50 minutes.”

After 40 minutes, Jamie then removed the potatoes and reveals another top tip.

Grabbing a potato masher, he then pressed down on each potato and noted: "Take the tray out of the oven after 40 minutes, place the potato masher on top, and then just let it pop and let the lovely starchy inside just puff out.

“Just do that around the whole tray and then pop it back in for another 10 minutes.
