MAFS’ Georges claps back with shady dig at ‘people who can’t love themselves’ as Peggy rips into him after split
MARRIED At First Sight’s Georges Berthonneau has clapped back with a shady dig at 'people who can't love themselves' after Peggy Rose Lawrence ripped into him after their split.
Peggy, 32, who announced their split on Valentine's Day, recently took to social media where she branded her ex-husband a 'liar'.
After Georges made claims that he splashed "thousands" on their relationship, Peggy said: "Most of the restaurants we went to were complimentary.
"People in the social media and influencer world will know that. I'm not sure how Georges spent thousands. On what, where, where did we go?
"How would he be able to pay? I paid my way. I work hard for my money. I work hard. I don't need a guy to provide for me. Never have done, never will do."
Georges has since took to Instagram and seemed to label his ex-wife as someone who doesn't love herself.

In his video, Georges said: "It's Thursday, some of you have had a bad week, some of you have had a good week.
"Just remember, if you've not heard it this week or you've not heard it today, or you've not heard it in a while, you are special, you are golden and you are an incredible human being.
"Do not let things on the exterior and people that can't love themselves tell you otherwise."
Peggy recently revealed that things ended because she believed Georges was cheating on her.
He totally denied her allegation and maintains that he was faithful throughout.
The pair have been going back and forth ever since the break-up.
