I went dumpster diving at TK Maxx and hit the jackpot – I even found a Calvin Klein handbag
A DUMPSTER diver has shared her 'insane jackpot' after she went rooting in the bins behind TK Maxx.
21 year old Ella shared her haul via a video posted to her TikTok channel, @glamourddive, where she often posts an insight into the things she finds in bins.
Technically, taking from a bin is theft, although, whether it is illegal or not depends on the motivation of the person taking the items and whether they have a rightful owner.
The caption to Ella's video reads: "Wait until you see what I found in this dumpster".
Beginning the video, Ella shared a clip of a skip, along with text on the screen reading: "Insane jackpot dumpster diving at TJ Maxx" (the American name for TK Maxx).
Ella then looked through the bins and found loads of products including a Brookstone eye mask and a Calvin Klein handbag.

She grabbed a few bags of stuff and headed home to see exactly what she'd managed to nab.
After laying out her haul in her bedroom, Ella revealed that she also found a Revlon hair dryer, Dolce and Gabbana perfume, makeup and even some adorable heart earrings.
Ella said that some of the products were damaged or were testers that had been used a bit, but some of the products looked like they had not been used at all.
The dumpster diver sells a lot of the products she finds in bins online, and is sure to make a killing.
On her website, GlamourDDive's shop, Ella assures customers that all of the products she finds are fully sanitized and refurbished before she sells them.
A bio on her website reads: "My enjoyment of dumpster diving has helped me open my eyes to the waste that is involved in everyday retail and corporations!
"My ultimate goal would be to give back to families and animals that may not have the support or means to help themselves."
TikTok users raced to the video's comments section to share their thoughts on Ella's haul.
One user said: "I neeeed to go dumpster diving but I’m scared of getting caught lol".
Another user said: "The fact that retail store would rather throw this stuff away rather than donate it is repulsive. Makes me not want to shop at these stores."
A third user added: "I swear you find like the best things in dumpsters."
