MAXIMIZING your storage space is a must if you're renting a small apartment.

One woman shared the six must-have items she swears by for saving room in her home.

Claud (@clowdymeatball) gave her followers a virtual tour of her favorite storage hacks.

"I live in a small apartment so I’m going to do the quickest run-through of the top things that have saved me the most space," the TikToker said in her video.

For her first recommendation, she showed her viewers how she saves space in her kitchen.

"The magnetic knife holder, those knife blocks take up so much counter space," Claud said.

She also freed up her kitchen counters with a unique dish drying rack.

"An over-the-sink drying rack, it’s so easy to fold up and put away," she told her audience.

Moving into her living area, Claud showed her followers how she stores her shoes.

"This entranceway shoe holder fits so many pairs of shoes and it looks way cleaner than having a shoe rack because you can’t see any of them," she said as she opened one of the drawers.

Claud revealed that her closet storage trick was her "personal favorite."

"Everyone who visits my apartment says that this is the best idea," she said.

"My closet is super narrow but it’s actually really tall so I just added another rack up on top of it.

"Then I bought this [grabber] gadget on Amazon so if I need something up there I literally retrieve clothes like I work at a clothing store, it works so well, it saves so much space."

Claud also added an extra clothing rack on the back of her closet door.

Going back to her kitchen, she opened up her cabinets to show her viewers how she stores her mugs.

"These mug hangers give you so much more space and most cabinets are adjustable so if you need more height you can usually move these shelves up or down," she said.
