Premier League Darts LIVE: Scores and results with action on NOW as Luke Littler faces Cross, Humphries CRASHES OUT

  • Stephen Bunting 2-0 Michael van Gerwen

Convincing again from Bunting - he's completely outplaying the Dutchman on Dutch turf!

MVG was back on 265 (two hundred and sixty-five) when Bunting comes back to the oche needing 72.

He goes T20 first and follows it up with D6 for a terrific two-dart finish!

  • Stephen Bunting 1-0 Michael van Gerwen

    BREAK OF THROW STRAIGHT AWAY!

MVG not quite settled yet, his scoring was really poor there.

Bunting with three darts to take out 32 with MVG not pressuring it by only leaving 134 behind him.

Bunting does need all three darts to take out the 32 but he won't mind - an early lead.

  • Stephen Bunting 0-0 Michael van Gerwen

Important game in the context of the league table for MVG.

And he'll throw first - GAME ON!

  • Bottom half of the draw

It's Stephen Bunting and home favourite Michael van Gerwen.

Huge cheers go up as the first man is shown on screen - and it's a cheer for Bunting!

He's lapping it up from the crowd and stops for a couple of selfies on the way to the stage too.

Dare I say the welcome for MVG wasn't as good as that for Bunting.

The crowd are in full flow for 'ohhh Michael van Gerwen' though when he does eventually start walking towards the stage.

  • Not vintage

Nathan Aspinall much the better player in that victory over Gerwyn Price.

And he did so only averaging 90.83.

That was over two points higher than Price's and he got double the two 180s the Welshman hit.

And of course, the big fish in there too. A superb 170 finish!

  • Nathan Aspinall is through!

    Gerwyn Price 3-6 Nathan Aspinall

    Not fully fit, no problem!

He was the better player throughout and an injured Nathan Aspinall comes through a 6-3 victor to claim at least two crucial points tonight!

Another routine hold of throw seals it by tidying up the 16 left and he'll face Chris Dobey in the semis!

  • Gerwyn Price 3-5 Nathan Aspinall

Great hold from Price as a match-dart comes and goes for Aspinall.

The Asp missing D20 for a superb 135 checkout after a bullseye, T15 combo.

Price had left 62 and ends up with just one dart at D20 and finds it to keep the match alive!

  • Gerwyn Price 2-5 Nathan Aspinall

Aspinall is within one of victory!

He hits a timely 140 to leave 48 and Price can't respond taking out a big finish.

he himself leaves 32 so the pressure is on this Aspinall visit and he hits 16 before his third dart sneaks between the two on the board and into D16. A cracking throw and he needs to win one of the next four!

  • Gerwyn Price 2-4 Nathan Aspinall

Price looks to have chucked it here the speed he's throwing at.

Having said that he leaves 89 and Aspinall is back on 180, so it doesn't need to go in this visit.

But three quick darts later he pins D20 and moves to within two!

  • Gerwyn Price 1-4 Nathan Aspinall

Good hold from Aspinall but he rode his luck a little there!

Three missed darts to finish off 28 and Price gets a big chance to break, but misses darts at bullseye and two at D12.

Aspinall had left 7 so came back needing a two-dart combo to wrap the leg up and he does so via 3, D2.

  • Gerwyn Price 1-3 Nathan Aspinall

Oh, Nathan stop that - WHAT A BREAK! THE BIG FISH!

He leaves another finish after nine darts, only this one is 170.

Price hasn't left a finish anyway so he doesn't NEED to take this 170 out.

But T20, T20 and a geeing up of the crowd only means one thing. BULLSEYE! Right back in the middle and there's daylight now.

  • Gerwyn Price 1-2 Nathan Aspinall

Aspinall ahead for the first time tonight, hitting a very smart 12-darter to take the lead.

He leaves 41 after nine darts, too. One missed dart at D16 meant he had to wrap up on D8 and takes it out well.

    Imagine he was fully fit...

  • Gerwyn Price 1-1 Nathan Aspinall

Great response from Aspinall to BREAK right back!

Aspinall is outscoring Price at the minute and has six darts from 208 to level it up.

A good 140 leaves 68 and when coming back he pins T20, D4 in a two-darter to make it 1-1.

  • Gerwyn Price 1-0 Nathan Aspinall

    PRICE BREAKS!

A bit of a scruffy end to the leg as Aspinall misses three at D20 having set up tremendously well.

Price nips in with a 112 checkout, finishing on tops, and a huge Welsh roar at a big break to start.

  • Gerwyn Price 0-0 Nathan Aspinall

    Big game this one.

Nathan Aspinall to throw first - GAME ON!

  • Here they are

Aspinall taking off down the walkway even before his music starts - he's even more up for this than usual!

The crowd up for it, too - they go a cappella for a chorus as the music stops.

Not quite as rowdy for Price, who doesn't give a huge roar on stage.

In a bright orange shirt too, he's attempting to get this crowd on side.

  • Next up

Nathan Aspinall vs Gerwyn Price - a HUGE clash in the context of the play offs.

Aspinall confirming to Sky Sports his arm is nowhere near 100%.

But he couldn't not give it a go tonight.

The winner playing Chris Dobey too - a real chance to make a nightly final!

  • Chris Dobey dumps out Luke Humphries!

    Chris Dobey 6-3 Luke Humphries

Quality from Chris Dobey and his best result of this year's Premier League!

Humphries well and truly RATTLED after that second leg shocker from him and looked really distressed for the remainder.

He couldn't have been quicker off the stage as Dobey takes in the acclaim which he hasn't experienced too much this year.

    Dobey through!

  • Chris Dobey 5-3 Luke Humphries

Humphries keeps it alive with a good hold of throw.

Again though he's under pressure throughout as Dobey leaves a two-dart combo with Humphries needing 60.

He needs all three darts in hand for it, eventually finishing on D10 to stay afloat for now.

  • Chris Dobey 5-2 Luke Humphries

Lush from Dobey - he's one away from the semis!

Humphries can't take out 121 and that leaves Dobey a chance to challenge the 126 he'd left.

T19, single 19 leaves the bullseye and he couldn't have found it more centrally! Terrific stuff and he needs to win one of the next four legs!

  • Chris Dobey 4-2 Luke Humphries

    DOBEY BREAKS!

And Humphries is rattled - twice he's just chucked darts at the board and left himself a bogey number and can't finish!

Dobey was always well ahead in the leg but a missed dart at D12 heads into single 9 makes his next visit trickier.

But no issue with 7, D4 and he's got daylight now!

  • Chris Dobey 3-2 Luke Humphries

Good again from Dobey who is back ahead and halfway to victory now.

He leaves 32 and Humphries on 186 can put pressure on him with a good visit - instead hitting just 24.

No real pressure on D16 then and he makes it look easy to move back in front.

  • Chris Dobey 2-2 Luke Humphries

Back level once again as Humphries manages to hold this time.

Nearly a good 110 checkout too, just missing the D16 but he's allowed to come back and pins it next time.

  • Chris Dobey 2-1 Luke Humphries

What a turnaround in this game!

Humphries not on a finish back on 217 as Dobey comes back for 32 he left himself after five successive triple 20s.

He needs two attempts on his next visit for it and he nudges ahead.

  • Chris Dobey 1-1 Luke Humphries

Humphries horror show - DOBEY BREAKS BACK!

Not a clue how. Humphries left 51 with Dobey on 21 and his first dart hits double 19 instead of the single. He's left to scramble around and is put under pressure when Dobey hits a 180.

Humphries comes back with three darts at D4 and can't take them, allowing Dobey to come back for 21 and level it up.
