Safiyya Vorajee breaks silence after ex Ashley Cain welcomes second child with new woman after their tragic baby loss
SAFIYYA Vorajee has broken her silence after her ex Ashley Cain announced the arrival of his second child with his new girlfriend.
Ashley, 34, confirmed the birth of his newborn son Atlas Diamond Cain last week, saying he is "bursting with pride and excitement".
He is also a dad to son Aliyas Diamond, who was born in January this year.
Ashley's ex girlfriend Safiyya has now spoken out following the arrival of baby Atlas.
Safiyya is the mother of Ashley's first child, daughter Azaylia.
Tragically, Azaylia died aged just eight months in April 2021 after being diagnosed with a rare form of leukaemia.

The couple split 11 months after Azaylia's death.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun at the MBCC Awards in the Hilton Birmingham Metropole, Safiyya sent her blessings to her ex.
She said: "For me, I know he is an amazing dad, and he always will be an amazing dad. He’s just really blessed, and I hope he enjoys every moment of it."
When asked if she will send a present to celebrate Atlas' arrival, Safiyya added: "In time. When everything is very new and very early, it’s still taken a lot of time to adjust myself.
"I think step by step, as that journey grows and I become more braver and more courageous, I can welcome more things into my life."
Former footballer Ashley began dating dental nurse Safiyya in 2017.
They welcomed daughter Azaylia in August 2020. Devastatingly, she was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia at just eight weeks old.
The couple captured the nation's hearts with their desperate plight for Azaylia, who had tumours on her lungs, stomach and kidneys.
Tragically, Azaylia passed away six months after her diagnosis.
Ashley and Safiyya announced their break-up shortly before the one-year anniversary of their little girl's death.
Safiyya remains single, while Ashley is now in a new relationship. He has not confirmed the identity of his partner.
Last week, Ashley told fans how baby Atlas had arrived a month early, meaning he missed the birth.
"When you rearrange your final two filming dates three times to make sure you’re back for your son’s birth, fully expecting him to be just like you - LATE," Ashley said. "He surprises everyone by showing up a month early!
"Even though I’m absolutely gutted I couldn’t be there, my heart is bursting with love and excitement.
"I can’t wait to leave the danger zones behind and come home to the best welcome ever - hugs, kisses, and sleepy snuggles on the sofa with my beautiful baby boy."
When asked if she still speaks to her ex partner, Safiyya said she is still in touch with Ashley.
The pair set up The Azaylia Foundation in August 2021 and still work side by side helping to fight childhood cancer.
Safiyya explained: "We are in a really good place right now.
"We’re in a really good place with our Foundation and we’re in a really good place with our friendship as well.

"For something that has been so painful for us, we’re only human as well.
"We’ve had to navigate through his whole journey and our purpose never fails; that’s The Azaylia Foundation and that’s’ what I’m so grateful for."
