Gogglebox star Pat Webb dies after long illness
Gogglebox star Pat Webb has died after a long illness, the show has confirmed.
The 75-year-old appeared alongside her son Stephen Lustig-Webb, from Brighton, during series 10 to 12.
He posted: "Mummy Pat, you were one in a million, took everyone at face value, would share your last fiver with a stranger, the salt of the earth and the absolute centre of our world! Rest in peace mum."
Posting on X, the Channel 4 show also paid tribute.
"Mummy Pat will be remembered and missed by her children Stephen, Denise, Sharon, Beverley and the extended family," it said.
"Our thoughts are with the family who have requested privacy at this sad time."
Googleboxshow fan page on Instagram replied to Stephen's comment: "We loved you and Pat she only had to be on screen for one second and you knew you would laugh at loud."
Lustig-Webb was one of the show's longest-running stars and appeared alongside his husband Daniel, but they left the hit programme late last year.
In October, he was forced to pull out of ITV's Dancing On Ice after injuring his ankle during training.
