Arsenal have tied down manager Mikel Arteta’s backroom staff to new deals after another strong season.
Arteta has developed a core coaching group during his time at the club, which includes assistants Albert Stuivenberg and Carlos Cuesta, first-team coach Miguel Molina, goalkeeping coach Inaki Cana and set-piece specialist Nicolas Jover.
The quintet are now understood to have all penned new contracts, bringing them in line with the length of Arteta’s deal.
After a lengthy period on gardening leave, Edu has now officially left Arsenal.
The former sporting director has penned an emotional letter to fans.
Edu said: "To our owners, Stan and Josh Kroenke, the board, Mikel, the players, the coaching staff, Per, Clare, all executive team, the backroom staff, everyone working at the Emirates Stadium, and especially those who welcomed me so warmly in the Director’s Box, thank you for these years of collaboration and kindness!
"It was never easy, but our intense work, united by a true team spirit, made me feel fulfilled throughout all these years!"
Real Madrid are sweating over the fitness of David Alaba and Federico Valverde ahead of next week's Champions League quarter-final second-leg with Arsenal at the Santiago Bernabeu.
According to Gullermo Rai, Alaba and Valverde suffered discomfort in the 3-0 loss at the Emirates.
It's claimed neither problem looks serious but more tests are set to follow.
Alaba played left-back for Madrid and struggled to contain Bukayo Saka.
Valverde, usually a midfielder, played the role as a makeshift right-back with Dani Carvajal out injured.
Not according to the legendary Marco van Basten, whose money is on Paris Saint-Germain...
In fact, Van Basten told Ziggo Sport PSG can beat Arsenal despite the Gunners' stunning victory over Real Madrid.
I saw PSG play against Liverpool. That was special. I hope they continue in that vein.
They are capable of beating Arsenal. Then you get the final PSG against Barcelona. Then I’ll go for Paris for the fun of it, who can finally win the Champions League.
They’ve been investing and hoping for about fifteen years. Manchester City, a comparable team, have managed it. But PSG has nothing yet.
Sooner or later it has to happen. They now have a team that plays spectacular football.
Arsenal target Nico Williams is solely focused on Athletic Bilbao and won't entertain offers until the end of the season.
The appreciation from Arsenal is there. Last summer Arsenal, Barcelona and also Chelsea – these three clubs tried to sign Nico Williams but the player decided to stay at Athletic Club.
One of the reasons why he decided to stay is obviously he loves the club, he loves the city, his family is there, so the relationship between Nico and Athletic Bilbao is excellent. But also they have the Europa League final in Bilbao…
So basically what they feel at Athletic Club is the player will not entertain any negotiations now. So forget about Nico Williams committing to any move now.
Nico is going to be fully focused on Athletic, fully focused on LaLiga, Europa League, everything with Athletic Club, and then closer to the end of the season he will make a decision for his future.
His agents are obviously working for his future. They had contacts with Arsenal, they know about Chelsea’s interest. Let’s see what Barcelona decide to do but for Barcelona everything will be lower because of Financial Fair Play.
Arsenal are looking to make Sporting Lisbon star Viktor Gyokeres one of their highest earners if he moves to the Emirates this summer.
The Gunners have been strongly linked with Gyokeres since the arrival of new sporting director Andrea Berta.
According to Just Arsenal, the North Londoners are ready to offer the striker a five-year deal worth £10million per year - that's about £192,000 per week.
Transfer rivals Chelsea and Manchester United are unwilling to match those wages.
Arsenal fans reckon Myles Lewis-Skelly is taking lessons from Ben White after spotting what he did to Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham on Tuesday's 3-0 Champions League triumph at the Emirates.
The Gunners were cruising thanks to two Declan Rice wondergoals and Mikel Merino's cherry-on-top of a strike.
But Lewis-Skelly showed the passion and intensity of a team desperately chasing another goal in the quarter-finals.
As his own England team-mate Bellingham picked up the ball in the middle of the park, the left-back refused to give him a moment to breathe.
The 18-year-old delivered a crunching tackle which sent them both crashing down to the turf.
As their legs tangled, Lewis-Skelly appeared to leave a little something on the back of the midfielder's right leg.
The Real superstar vented his frustration and appeared to point out what had happened after hopping back up, but Arsenal fans spotted MLS telling him to get on with it.
Real Madrid superstar Jude Bellingham was seen having a heated discussion with manager Carlo Ancelotti during Tuesday's 3-0 Champions League loss at Arsenal in the quarter-finals.
Bellingham headed over to the touchline with team-mate Eduardo Camavinga to receive tactical instructions from Ancelotti.
The versatile midfielder first threw his hand up in the air, though it was not clear whether this was a gesture of frustration or he was simply pointing towards Camavinga.
And then later on the England international shook his head before tossing his water bottle aside.
According to Marca, the incident toom place in the first half when the score was still 0-0.
The same source claims Ancelotti was instructing the players on how to regain control of the midfield and dampen Arsenal's energy to press with.
