FOOD fans have been left fuming after spotting a snack you can get for free selling for £2 in Marks and Spencer.
Lorna Cooper - from Paisley - spotted the chip shop 'scraps' in the food aisle last week.
Posting on Feed your family for about £20 a week, a public Facebook group with 671,000 followers, the mum of three said: "I can't believe that 1) M&S are selling these and 2) that they are charging £2 for a tiny tub!
"We used to get these free from the chippy when we were kids."
Lorna has made a name for herself as a top budget shopper over the years.
She is the author of Feed Your Family For £20 A Week – In A Hurry cookbook, where she shares her secrets for making meals for a family of four for less than £3 a day - as well as running her popular Facebook page.

So it's no surprise that she was left stunned by the price of the M&S snack.
Described as "scraps of our light and crispy batter", the tubs are found in the fridge section of M&S Food Halls.
The 50g tubs are priced at £2, working out as £40 per kg.
And Lorna's not alone in her outrage, as her post quickly racked up more than 3,000 likes and 1,700 comments.
One said: "My lovely Dad owned two fish and chip shops over 30 years and would turn in his grave seeing those sold for £2."
A second wrote: "I think that’s known as taking the p***."
A third added: "I'd rather spend the £2 on a small chips at our chippy and get the free scraps with it."
A fourth fumed: "That is shocking. I used to love them certainly would not be paying for them."
"You still get them free from the chippy now ", chimed in a fifth while a sixth echoed: "Wait people pay for these? Ours are still free I get them every time."
But not everybody is against the chip shop-inspired snack.
"I buy them every week love them", insisted one.
A second wrote: "I've brought them before and don't regret it and feel zero shame! They were really nice."
Meanwhile, a third added: "My husband buys them as a treat, he loves the fish from M&S."

An M&S spokesperson said: “Our chip shop scraps have proved popular with customers up and down the country since launching back in 2018.
"Many enjoy as part of their chippy tea, and we also know some customers enjoy sprinkling across a variety of meals, including adding texture to a salad.”
