Prince George ‘gifted £10k 18ct white gold charm bracelet’ – but he wasn’t allowed to keep it

WITH Prince George as an heir to the throne, there's no doubt about it - the youngster has a very lavish life.

Not only does the ten-year-old get taken on fabulous holidays to the Caribbean and regularly stays at luxury resorts in Courchevel, France, but he is often given jaw-dropping gifts, too.

In fact, even at the age of just three, his father Prince William jokingly admitted "he’s far too spoiled" when asked by a member of the public about the presents he'd received for his tenth birthday.

The youngster has received a large collection of fabulous gifts throughout the years - from an extra special £18,000 playhouse from his grandfather, King Charles, to a rocking chair from none other than the then-president of the United States, Barack Obama.

The car-mad tot also has an impressive classic car collection, including an electric SUV he received in 2017 from his uncle, Prince Harry, as well as a super fancy dark green miniature Aston Martin, that was reportedly inherited from his dad.

But before he was even born, Prince George was a very popular tot, with well-wishers clamouring to give him gifts.

To mark his birth, celebrity designer Theo Fennell - who has worked for everyone from the Beckhams to Elton John - created a £10,000 18ct white gold charm bracelet as a gift for George and mother, Kate Middleton.

The renowned jewellery designer was commissioned by Sudocrem to produce a bespoke bracelet that reflected the Sudocrem pot.

Modelled on the iconic Sudocrem pot with a closable lid, the company maintained that it will carry the perfect amount of the nappy rash cream in style.

Speaking about the commission, Theo said: 'I am thrilled to make this miniature pot and bracelet for Sudocrem.

'I understand it will be going to a very good home.'

But kindly, the lavish gift was later auctioned off, with the proceeds generously going to charity.

In the online auction, sought-after items including the £10k bracelet, a special plate made to celebrate the birth of Prince George, a chance to meet the world's greatest race horse, and tickets to see boy band One Direction, were sold.

It was hosted by the-saleroom.com to boost the coffers of East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH), which was formed following the extra publicity for the charity after Kate became patron in 2012.
