A WOMAN has left the internet in hysterics after her friend filmed her attempting to rescue her dog's lead from a river.
The now-viral video shows two friends Al and El on a scenic dog walk, but things didn't quite go to plan.
In the clip, the super-glam blonde-haired El somehow managed to get the dog lead in the river.
So, she clearly had no other choice to retrieve it.
Unfortunately for her, the riverbed was particularly muddy and didn't suit her walking around in the mud in her pristine white trainers.

The glam woman also wore black leggings and a black gillet as she attempted to get close to the river using a large stick for support.

In the clip she made her way along the muddy riverbed with a confidence she would soon regret.
As she got to the edge, the slippery mud was too much and she went head first directly into the river.
Screaming and attempting to get back to land, her friend Aly could be heard laughing hysterically as she filmed her friend struggling.
After finally making her way back to the river bed, all seemed well and she looked relieved.
But it wouldn't last long as when she tried to climb up she went head first into the mud.
In shock, she lied still before looking up at Aly with her mouth wide open.
She then attempted to get back up again before slipping one more time.
Fortunately, she did managed to get back up in the end, no thanks to her pal Aly.
The two-part videos have gone viral on all forms of social media, garnering over 4 million views on their TikTok account @alandelsantics alone.
For those invested in the rescue mission, you'll be pleased to know El did in fact find the dog lead in the river.
People were quick to take to the comments thanking the girls for making them laugh.
