IF you want to get chatted up the next time you go grocery shopping make no effort at all.
That was the experience of one dressed-down woman and she was stunned.
She was running to the shops and wore her PJs, no bra, Crocs and her hair was wrapped in a plastic bag.
So, imagine Raisa's (@bigricey) surprise when someone tried to hit on her.
But it scared her and she said any man who approached her while she looked like that should be sent away with his tail between their legs.
In her post, Raisa was dressed for a day hanging around at home.
"I just ran to the shop," she recounted in her video. "It is directly opposite my house."
It was only going to be a quick trip to grab a few provisions, so she didn't make any effort.
“This is how I ran to the shop. Exactly like this," she said, describing her outfit choice.
Most people wouldn't wear plastic wrapping if they hoped to attract a mate: “Underneath this bonnet is a plastic bag because my hair is covered in oil," she said.
Neither would they keep sleepwear on for shopping expeditions: “I’ve got my pajamas underneath this."
And she even broke a cardinal sin and wore a pair of Crocs in public: “I’m wearing Crocs with no socks. I haven’t even got a bra on."
What, she wondered, was attractive about this get-up? But it seemed to appeal to someone.
“I came out if the shop and all I hear is 'hello miss. Let me chat to you.'"
But Raisa had to look around, because she believed there was no way it could have been her.
“Chat to who? 'You’re talking to me?’” she asked.
She was incredulous: “Like this, you saw this and you thought 'yes, I want to talk to her.'”
There was no way, in her mind, anyone would even look at her wearing a plastic bonnet, let alone chat her up.
“Are you insane? That’s scary. Because I literally look like I have dived headfirst into the lost and found box in primary school."
She had a theory based on her experience: “When you see a man that is capable of moving to you when you look this bummy, that is a man you should be very fearful of."
Raisa even joked this called for dramatic action: “This is a man you should call the police on."
There was a huge response to her post, with over 89,000 likes.
Of the hundreds of comments, the over-riding sense was perhaps she was just lovely with none of the adornments.
It was a view typified by this viewer: “He went for you in your raw state and natural beauty. Some guys do prefer this.”
This fan repeated the point: “That’s how naturally gorgeous you are though.”
“Beauty is beauty sis, you can’t hide it," was the reaction of this person.

It had happened to this viewer: “Girl, I pulled my current man on laundry day. I don’t even want to talk about what I was wearing.”
Perhaps natural is the way to go, according to this guy: “The actual fact is that extra really doesn’t matter in our world. When we like you it doesn’t matter.”
