This is what it's all about - the Champions League trophy.
One of the most famous pieces of silverware in sport is introduced to the watching crowd by two Javiers - Pastore, formally of PSG, and Inter legend Zanetti.
Together the pair hold it aloft, and then place it on a glass plinth.
Soon, the players will emerge from the tunnel to walk past it before the final battle commences.
Uefa's caterers have excelled themselves here tonight by charging six Euros and five cents (approx £5.50) for a beaker of still water.
This after many fans suffered dangerous levels of crushing on the Munich U-bahn, the only affordable means of transport to the Allianz Arena. Thanks Uefa, another Champions League Final triumph!
In Yann Sommer, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Francesco Acerbi, Internazionale become the first side to start three players aged 36 or over in a European Cup or Champions League final.
And at 37 years and 110 days, Acerbi is set to become the fifth-oldest outfield starter in the final of either this competition or its previous format.
After the earlier travel mayhem - some of it self-inflicted by a few idiot fans - it looks like most people will get here on time. There will be no repeat of the Paris farce of three years ago, in that respect at least.
The PSG fans seemed happy to surrender most of the centre of Munich to their Inter rivals. But now in the Allianz they are the more vocal and lively set of supporters.
Yann Bisseck is only fit enough for the Inter bench after hurting his knee in the final Serie A game at Como. Benjamin Pavard comes in on the right of the back three, but Simone Inzaghi's side are otherwise the same 11 as started the second leg of the semi final against Barcelona.
PSG are as expected, at full strength, with Desire Doue preferred to Bradley Barcola on the right wing.
Speaking ahead of the Champions League final, PSG boss Luis Enrique said: "No. The motivation for me is to win the Champions League for the first time for PSG.
This is the gift I want to give to the team, the club and the city.
"The fact that we would be the first in history in Paris to do this, that’s what driving me and getting me raring to go.
"I’ll take whatever football gives us, but we are going to give 100 per cent."
The big news for Luis Enrique is that he has decided to go with teenager Desire Doue over Bradley Barcola.
Barcola, 22, has scored 21 goals this season - including two in the French Cup final against Reims last weekend - but Enrique has opted for the 19-year-old Doue.
For Inter, Benjamin Pavard is the shock name in the starting XI.
The French defender has not played since picking up an injury on April 27, with Yann Bisseck the man making way.
Speaking ahead of the Champions League final, Inter boss Simone Inzaghi said: “As a child, I dreamt of being involved in a match like this. I didn’t make it as a player – I only reached the quarter-finals – but, thanks to these players, I’m now ready to take part in my second final as a coach.”
The former striker has guided Inter to a second final in three years as he looks to go one better than in 2023, when they lost 1-0 to Manchester City.
