Welcome to Everton vs Chelsea
Sean Dyche’s side are looking for a third consecutive victory to move clear of the bottom three following their points deduction as they welcome Chelsea to Goodison Park.
Everton will be waiting on the fitness of James Garner who missed the Newcastle game due to illness and Seamus Coleman who could not complete the full match as he works his way to full match fitness after a seven-month lay-off due to injury.
Should either of these two be a concern, Dyche is likely to turn to Nathan Patterson to fill the void.
Dele Alli is continuing his recovery from a groin operation still while The Toffees are monitoring the fitness of Amadou Onana, Andre Gomes and Jordan Pickford.
Chelsea will have Conor Gallagher available after his one-match suspension and Pochettino’s side did not suffer any fresh injury concerns after the midweek game at Old Trafford.
Romeo Lavia and Christopher Nkunku may well be available to make long-awaited debuts, although it is likely that the manager will not want to rush the latter back to first team action.
Wesley Fofana, Trevoh Chalobah, Carney Chukwuemeka, Ben Chilwell, Malo Gusto, Noni Madueke and Lesley Ugochukwu are all still regulars in the Stamford Bridge treatment room.
Marc Cucurella and Reece James made long-awaited returns to fitness against Man Utd but looked short of match fitness although the latter is likely to start being the club captain.
