She said her ugly Christmas sweater is perfect for holiday parties, costing just $5 to put together.

Yaisah (@yaisah) filmed herself constructing the look in a video on TikTok.

"DIY ugly Christmas sweater with $5 (fast, cheap, and easy) at Dollar Tree," she said.

"Grab tree sunglasses, a tree topper, mini presents and bows.

"Grab a tree skirt and place the presents and bows wherever you'd like. Use a glue gun and grab your favorite sweater, you will not ruin it.

"Use some safety pins to pin it onto your sweater.

"Then grab your tree sunglasses and your tree topper and you are ready for your ugly Christmas sweater party," she added.

The final look was a festive outfit with just enough gaudiness to be considered for the "ugly Christmas" theme.
