Kerry Katona splashes out on tattoo GUN for her daughter and says she can practise on her
KERRY Katona will soon have her own, personal body artist, after she bought her daughter Molly a tattoo gun for her 23rd birthday.
The mother-of-five, 43, who shares her daughter with Westlife’s Brian McFadden, says she bought Molly the kit which can cost up to £1000, because she has “wanted one for a while.”
And Kerry said she’s excited to be the tattoo guinea pig for her eldest child. Opening up about Molly’s birthday over the weekend, Kerry said:
"My Molly turned 23 over the weekend – I can’t believe how fast time is passing. Ryan and I spoiled her. She’s been asking for a tattoo gun for a while so we got her one and I’m going to let her tattoo me. I think it will be so special to have a tattoo done by my daughter on me forever. I don’t know what design I’ll choose yet – I don’t even care if it’s just a squiggle."
The former Atomic Kitten star’s daughter is currently living her father’s native Ireland, where she is studying drama and Kerry has said that she struggles with the distance.
She told OK magazine: "I spent time with her before coming away on holiday and when we left for the airport I balled my eyes out because I knew she would be back at drama school in Dublin by the time we got home. It was so emotional. I love all my kids equally but because Molly is my first born, it makes me particularly emotional. That’s something you can never take away."

In July, Kerry admitted that she hadn't seen her daughter Molly in almost a year. Her second born Lily also lives and works in Ireland. She told Ok.
"Lilly and Molly are both coming home this week from Ireland for a visit and I can’t wait to have them back.
"I haven’t seen Molly in almost a year! We talk on the phone every single day, but she just hasn’t been home to visit in a while.
"Lilly is getting on great too, she’s really settled and has got a good job over in Ireland, I’m proud of her.
"It’s nice for me to see my kids flourish. I’ve done my parenting bit and now it’s their turn to live lives.
But Molly was recently back in the UK for her sister Heidis' GCSE results. As the 15-year-old, who Kerry shares with her ex, Mark Croft, read out her grades in her mum's lamborghini on camera, the former face of Iceland said she "couldn't be more prouder than what I am right now".
Heidi told how she got the grades "5,6,5,7,7,7,7", the same as four As, one B and two Cs, and Kerry gushed: "All those 7s! Honest to God, I am so bloody proud.
Each and every one of you people right now who are getting your results, don't be defined by that number! It doesn't really matter, that's my opinion! But well done everybody, Heidi I'm so proud of you right now," she continued, telling Heidi she needed to buy something "very expensive" to celebrate.
Recently Kerry returned from holiday in Spain and revealed that she’s fed up with the UK and would love to emigrate to the sunshine.
She said: “"Now we're back home for holiday, I'm realising how sick I am of the UK. I want to move to Spain and I've been looking at houses. I just want to get out of the UK. I feel so much happier abroad and it's nicer to go out with the kids and do things over there."
