I’m 44 & pregnant with my sixth child – people are baffled my son’s ‘quadruplet’ brother will be born 12 years apart

A MUM-OF-FIVE who is currently pregnant with her sixth baby at the age of 44 has left people baffled after revealing she's having her son's 'quadruplet' brother 12 years later.

Tanis Larson, whose mission is to “challenge the narrative of pregnancy over 35," welcomed her first child aged 32, her second at 35 and her third aged 38.

She went on to have her fourth child aged 40, her fifth aged 42 and is currently pregnant with her sixth.

In a recent clip posted to TikTok (@tanislarson1), she decided to clear up some confusion and shared her miracle story.

Posting a snap of a positive pregnancy test, she penned: "When you decide to use your 13-year-old frozen growing embryos at 44-years-old and are now expecting your son's 'quadruplet brother' due May 2024.

"All four boys are from the same cycle in 2010."

She captioned the post: "When you realise your expecting your sons quadruplet brother from their IVF cycle in 2010! Wow...crazy story."

Tanis, who is from Canada, regularly shares posts about her miraculous pregnancy journey social media.

Despite spending a whopping ten years pregnant, last year, she decided to try again.

Tanis, who froze her eggs back in 2010, has used IVF to conceive her children.

The recent video has gone viral, racking up over 357k views and hundreds of comments from amazed social media users, with some sharing their own personal stories.

"At the time in 2005, it was the longest an embryo had been frozen to successful pregnancy!" wrote one.

A second penned: "IVF triplets 12 yr old and 4 yr old twins. Love to hear others successes."

"Transfer twins we call it, but love this even more!" commented a third.

Meanwhile, a fourth enthused: "Wow!! Congrats thank you for sharing this with us!! Gives some humans out there some hope. And it shows it’s never to late."
