Young millionaire in £130k SUV slammed for using disabled bay because ‘time is money’ & he ‘needs to be closer to shops’
A YOUNG millionaire has been slammed for parking his £130,000 SUV in a disabled bay because he "needs to be close to the shops".
Luke Desmaris, a self-professed "seven-figure trader" from Chelmsford, Essex, argued his case by claiming that he is a "quick person" and "time is money".
Luke, 28, claims to have made a fortune on cryptocurrency and foreign exchange markets and advertises a training course on social media offering to teach others how to follow in his footsteps.
In one video, uploaded to TikTok, he is seen sitting in his Mercedes G Wagon while parked up in a blue badge space outside a supermarket.
Asked why he was using the bay, which is reserved for drivers who are registered as disabled with the DVLA, he argued that he would only be there for a couple of minutes.
Luke said: "To be honest with you mate, I'm a very quick person.

"I need to be close to the shop to save time.
"Time is money.
"Within the two minutes that I'm in the shop, a hundred disabled people aren't just going to turn up.
"That's why I'm parking in the disabled bay."
Commenters were quick to slam him for breaking road laws.
One fumed: "No right to park there."
Another cried: "Rich people don't hang out in the [supermarket] car park."
And a third added: "It’s not 2 minutes, it’s a disabled bay.
"I’m disabled and people like you are fit and healthy enough to walk a mile to the shops."
Parking in a disabled bay is an offence, punishable by a fine of up to £100.
However, Luke doesn't seem to concerned about paying out penalties, as he's previously boasted of using bus routes as a "G Wagon lane" and double yellows as "VIP parking spots" despite the cost.
The Sun has contacted Luke Desmaris for comment.
