Molly-Mae Hague signs up for HUGE C4 show as she returns to reality TV for first time since Love Island

MOLLY- MAE HAGUE has signed up to star on the next celebrity version of the Great British Bake Off.

The former Love Islander turned businesswoman has seen her profile soar over the past year, partly because of her on/off relationship with boxer Tommy Fury.

Molly will be one of the biggest stars taking part in the Stand up to Cancer spin-off of the cookery contest which is filming now, and is set to air next year.

A TV insider said: "She will be a great addition to the line-up and bring a healthy helping of Love island glamour to the tent.

"Molly's now one of Britain's biggest TV stars and has seen her fame steadily grow since she first appeared on the ITV dating show back in 2019."

She has been placed firmly in the spotlight since her break-up last year with Tommy Fury, which was chronicled in the first part of her Prime Video documentary, Molly-Mae: Behind it All, which was released in January.

The second half of the series will drop this summer on the streaming service and is expected to cover them getting back together. Their reunion was captured on camera and published exclusively in The Sun, where they were seen kissing at a New Year's Eve event.

Molly's signing comes after it was revealed another reality TV star, Jojo Siwa had singed up for the Celebrity Bake Off, just weeks after starring on Celebrity Big Brother.

Other Love Islanders who've been on the Bake Off spin off have included former contestant Ovie Soko and former host Laura Whitmore.

The celebrity version of the Bake Off, whose participants have yet to be confirmed by C4, is being made just before filming of the "civilian" version.

The show kicks off this summer with Noel Fielding and Alison Hammond returning to host as well as Paul Hollywood coming back to give the celebs some serious scrutiny in the tent.

Channel 4 star Prue Leith has stepped back from all GBBO specials, with cooking expert, and pal, Caroline Waldegrave filling her shoes.

Last year, The Sun revealed how Prue had made the decision to step back from the Great British Bake Off specials and focus on the regular series.

Channel 4 declined to comment and have yet to confirm any of the celebrities for the show.
