K Hoysala dead at 35: Tragedy as cricket star dies after suddenly collapsing following match
INDIAN cricketer Hoysala K has reportedly died aged 35.
It is believed the bowler suffered a heart attack after collapsing during the Aegis South Zone tournament in Bangalore.
The incident occurred during a team meeting with his side Shivamogga Lions on Thursday.
It is claimed he received medical attention immediately but he did not respond to treatment.
He was taken to Bowring Hospital in Bengaluru via ambulance where doctors confirmed he had passed away.
Tributes have poured in with Indian cricketer and fast bowler Abhimanyu Mithun honouring his friend.

He wrote: "It’s not something I thought I would ever have to write. Today we lost a lovely human being, a talented cricketer, a good caring friend and loving son.
"Gone too soon, but will never be forgotten. Rest in peace Hoysi."
A fan said: "Tragic. Promising career cut short. Condolences."
Another added: "Very sad to hear this."
Hoysala had previously played for Bellary Tuskers and Shimoga in the Karnataka Premier League, as well as representing the Karnataka junior squad.
