I got a whole basket of shopping from Aldi for just £3.30 – it was such good value I went back to get another one
A SAVVY mum has shared how she was able to get a whole box of Aldi goods for just £3.30 and she was so happy with her haul that she went back again for more.
Rachel Steeden shared her Aldi haul via a video posted to her TikTok channel @rachelsteedensavvyshop.
The single mum revealed that she was able to bag the Aldi goods by using the Too good To Go food app.
Too Good To Go is a food waste prevention service, where supermarkets and restaurants with surplus, unused stock can sell it off for cheap, rather than letting it go to waste.
Customers can select what items they want via the app and can head to the store/restaurant to collect it.
In the video, Rachel can be seen collecting the box along with her young daughter.

The enormous box has a whole host of goods inside, including a loaf of bread, some chicken breasts, breaded chicken wings and a bag of satsuma's and some blueberries.
Rachel said that when she got to the store, the boxes were all lined up, ready packed, and said you could choose which box you wanted.
After heading back to the car to put the box away, the mum and daughter returned to Aldi, after the girl convinced her mum they should get another bargain box.
"Am I looking greedy now?", Rachel joked, "Do I look like a cheap skate?".
Although some of the food such as the chicken has been sold off as it is going out of date, you can just pop it in the freezer and defrost it when you want to make a meal.
TikTok users raced to the video's comments section to share their thoughts on Rachel's haul.
One user said: "I just ordered two boxes and there was so much in there I gave a box to my neighbour."
Another user said: "Wow that's amazing. The blueberries alone would normally cost close to £3. I'm deffo gonna try it!"
A third user added: "I think I’m going to order a box for tomorrow. Thanks so much for sharing this app. I had no idea".
