Premier League LIVE SCORE: Man City take on Brighton in the race for Europe, plus five more games in Saturday’s action

  • Haaland’s numbers are ‘unbelievable’ - Guardiola

Erling Haaland is one goal involvement away from reaching the 100 mark in the Premier League. Ollie Watkins, who did it in 169 games, is the quickest to the tally since Kevin De Bruyne in 2020.

“It's incredible what Erling is doing… and I want more,” Pep Guardiola on Haaland potentially reaching the tally.

“Erling has to help us more and more and more to achieve what we want this season. The numbers are unbelievable since he arrived”.

Haaland could break the record on his 94th appearance - the first to do so.

  • Premier League Saturday

Hello and welcome to matchweek 29 of Premier League football, which officially means we’re into the final stretch of games with 10 to go (for most - Villa and Liverpol have played their game).

Games take on that bit more importance, or not, depending where you are.

An eight-strong pack of teams continue their quest for a desired form of European football, with Brighton travels to the Etihad the headline game in this afternoon’s selection.

A point separates the pair as Man City currently occupy the all important fifth and final Champions League spot, which has been confirmed for England next season.

At the bottom, Ipswich can still give themselves a fighting chance as they host Wolves - a win could bring them three points within 17th place Wolves who clash with all-but-relegated Southampton.

Also on the agenda, David Moyes welcomes familiar faces in West Ham for the first time since his departure in the summer. Whilst, Bournemouth and Brentford provide the evening entertainment at 5.30pm GMT.
