Ally (@hairgrowthbff) filmed herself discussing her hacks in a video on TikTok.

"I've been studying hair growth and scalp health for the last four years," she said.

She shared two photos — one of her hair before and one of her hair after.

"Today I'm going to be sharing with you two things you can do to help your hair grow faster that are free," she said.

"Number one, massage your scalp. Yes, you could buy a massager, but you can also literally just do this with your hand.

"And this is going to help because your hair actually thrives off the oxygen in your blood. So stimulating that blood flow will help stimulate healthy hair growth," she added.

Her next tip involved health advice to take on board for longer locks.

"Number two, drink lots of water," she said.

The haircare guru said that drinking water has similar effects to scalp massages.

"It's also going to help with the blood circulation, which is going to help stimulate healthy hair growth," she said.

"And overall, drinking water is good for you," she added.

The video drew in many viewers who shared their two cents in the comment section.

"I’ve tried every hair growth product under the sun, and still no change from my hair. My hair is still thin but my dad said it could just be genes," one wrote.

"They say that my hair is long enough now but for me, it’s still a little bit small and it grows so so so slow," another added.

"Watching after I got the worst haircut I've ever gotten," a third commented.
