Hallie Gray, home expert from Home Detail, shares how to keep your space sparkling with her DIY cleaning tricks.

Perhaps the best part is that you most likely already have some - or all - of the ingredients in your kitchen cabinets.

VERSATILE VINEGAR

She is certainly a fan of one standout product.

"Vinegar is a cleaning superstar. Its acidic nature makes it perfect for tackling grease, grime, and bacteria," she said.

Gray explained how you can incorporate the vinegar into your own all-purpose cleaner by mixing the ingredient with water in a spray bottle.

And voila - your vinegar concoction will now work on everything from sinks to countertops, and even glass surfaces.

She also shared another pro-tip - just leave a bowl of vinegar in any room - or even the fridge - to help dissipate odors.

Heating vinegar can also help to dissolve limescale buildup.

BAKING SODA SPARKLING

She describes baking soda as a non-abrasive product that offers powerful stain removal capabilities so you can scrub without having to worry about scratching surfaces.

Stacey Solomon shares ‘lazy’ home hack that makes cleaning up so much easier - and people are hailing it ‘genius’

"Sprinkle baking soda on your carpets, let it sit for 15 minutes, and then vacuum. It helps to absorb odors and leave your carpets smelling fresh," she said.

It can also be used inside the oven and even cleans clothes.

LAY ON THE LEMONS

She also shared how you can let lemons do most of the cleaning work.

"Fill a microwave-safe bowl with water and add a few lemon slices. Microwave for 3-5 minutes, then wipe down the inside," she said.

Let your stainless steel shine by rubbing a cut lemon over your appliances and say goodbye to water spots.
