CRAVING an indulgent treat from M&S but strapped for cash after an extortionate Christmas and New Year?
A mum and daughter duo have revealed how you can get £24 worth of food for just a fiver from the gourmet food store.
Sarah and Lily, shared the nifty hack via a video posted to their TikTok account, @sarlil.tgtg where they often posts budget food hauls.
To get a whole bag of food for such a low price, the thrifty shoppers used the Too Good To Go app.
Too Good To Go is a food waste prevention service, where supermarkets and restaurants with surplus, unused stock can sell it off for cheap, rather than letting it go to waste.
Customers can select what items they want via the app and can head to the store/restaurant to collect it.
Popular retailers using Too Good To Go include Pret A Manger, Aldi and Greggs.
As the cost of living crisis continues to bite and people struggle financially after a costly Christmas, it's a great way to still treat yourself without having to splash out.
The caption to the video reads: " M&S know how to make a good tgtg bag, the value for money was incredible!"
in the video, Lily can be seen showing viewers an enormous shopping back, packed full of M&S goodies.
She said: "This seems very full and heavy so I can't wait to see what I've got".
Lily then went through what was in the bag, including a scrumptious looking pasta salad, freshly squeezed orange juice, a mushroom and pasta ready meal and a BLT.
Commenting on the contents of the bag, Lily said: "I think that's a very good varied bag. We've got lots of things to try and it was really good value for money as always.
TikTok users raced to the video's comments section to share their thoughts on Sarah and Lily's budget haul.
