Trolls say my wife must be a gold digger as she’s too ‘beautiful’ for me – it hit my self-esteem, I’m not that hideous
A HUSBAND was left feeling "hideous and terrible-looking" after showing off pics of his "incredibly beautiful" wife.
David Robinson was hounded by "jealous" blokes suggesting he was "punching" and his wife, Jasmine, must be a gold digger.
The couple were hit by "horrible" trolling after David shared an appreciation post of Jasmine in a bloke's-only Facebook group earlier this month.
The 36-year-old shared two photos of the loved-up pair, who share two children together, to mark their sixth wedding anniversary.
But he was left horrified when trolls started commenting: "You're either hung like a horse or have a massive wallet."
Many envious users branded IT worker Jasmine, 27, a "gold digger" despite the fact she earns more than the stay-at-home dad and is the family's breadwinner.

Trolls insisted that David "must be rich" and said he had pulled off "some A grade punching".
David feels grateful to have "married up" but admitted the online trolling makes him feel "horrendous".
"It's upsetting for me because it's not nice for people to make me feel hideous," the Surrey-based dad said.
"I don't feel like I'm a terrible-looking man.
"It just so happens that my wife is incredibly beautiful.
"It's hurtful and it does affect my self-esteem.
"As I'm getting older, it does make me think I'm horrendous.
"I know I've married up but my wife thinks she's married up too.
"I always get a lot of hate and I'm kind of used to it now but it's been upsetting to see."
He slammed "shallow" trolls and insisted that the pair's love "is not just skin deep".
"Yes, my wife is incredibly beautiful, but that's not the reason I love her," David added.
"She has a beautiful heart, she's an amazing mum and she fights my corner no matter what.
"To me that's all I could ever want in a life partner.
"Online it's very easy to sit on your phone and tap away without real life consequences.
"Most people wouldn't say it to my face.
"They're just jealous because I've pulled a worldie."
Jasmine affirmed that she has a "a strong, emotional connection" to David, and described him as "incredibly charming".
"Because of the way I look people don't think that I'm intelligent or can earn money and they don't take me seriously," she said.
"In my job, I have to be forceful and make sure that I put my point across properly or people don't take me seriously otherwise.
"Being a woman in IT is difficult."
The couple met over nine years ago in 2015 after they started working at the same sales company just a week apart.
David was a salesman and Jasmine was a secretary, with him leaving doughnuts on her desk to woo her.

"We've been together nine years and have two beautiful daughters together," he said.
"We're not perfect; like any couple, we have ups and downs, but we stick through it together no matter what and remember why we fell in love in the first place."
