Shock helmet cam footage shows thugs in balaclavas ‘bike jack’ motorcyclist after ambushing him in broad daylight
THIS is the horror moment a pair of balaclava-clad thugs "bike jack" a motorcyclist after ambushing him in broad daylight.
The terrified biker was run off the road before being set upon by the violent yobs.
In the short clip, uploaded to YouTube, the view is given the rider's perspective as he travels along a quiet residential street, reportedly in Sheffield.
The only other vehicle visible is a dark grey Fiat 500 a short distance up the road.
As the biker approaches, the little hatchback slams on its brakes and the passenger side door shoots open.
The sudden stop forces the biker to brake hard and swerve to avoid rear-ending the car.

However, as they attempt to move around the car, the driver turns violently to the right, forcing the bike onto the pavement.
At the same time, a masked thug leaps out of the passenger side and charges the biker, pushing him over onto the tarmac.
Fortunately for the rider, the bike fell with them, preventing the crooks from making off with it.
They then clamber to their feet and rush at the car but, by that point, their assailant has already got back into the passenger seat.
The victim of the attack does manage to open the driver's door, revealing another man in a balaclava, tracksuit and bright red gloves behind the wheel.
However, before they are able to get a hold of him, the car shoots forward up the road.
The driver then appears to stall and looks as if he considers reversing back at the biker, before getting the Fiat back into gear and speeding away.
The YouTuber who uploaded the idea reported that the biker was unharmed but "shaken up".
Despite their best efforts to track down the men, it is believed that the car was stolen and likely on false plates.
Social media commenters were stunned by the dramatic video.
One wrote: "I hope you sent this footage to the police."
Another added: "I've seen it all now."
It comes after a "runaway caravan" was filmed smashing head-on into cars after coming loose on a busy road.
