“They left us with great memories to cherish forever. We were all lucky enough to have had them in our lives.”

Today, a coroner ruled the death was "one-of-a-kind" after an inquest heard the motorist was driving below the speed limit, reports Kent Online.

The taxi driver was  “not impaired by drink or drugs, speeding and was not distracted while driving”, it added.

In a police statement the driver said: “I was listening to the radio and driving, then she was there.

“Before I knew it, she was on the bonnet before I braked.”
