RUTH Langsford has been forced to pull out of a live TV appearance after falling sick.
The former This Morning anchor told how she had been suffering with a "horrible tummy bug" and would not be on-screen for her QVC fashion show.
Instead of featuring on the two-hour slot from 7pm to 9pm, Ruth, 65, will be recovering at home.
In her post, she revealed her replacement would be Melissa Hardy.
Alongside an Instagram snap showing the pair together Ruth wrote: "I've got a horrible tummy bug so unfortunately can't do my show @qvcuk tonight."
She then added: "Thankfully the wonderful @melissahardystyle is stepping in for me so I hope you can join her.

"Some lovely new pieces launching!"
Ruth first launched her clothing range on the shopping channel seven years ago.
She now presents a weekly show, as well as promoting the ranges on her social media.
The collections are inspired by the ITV star's day-to-day wardrobe.
Last year, she returned to screens just weeks after her split from Eamonn Holmes came to light.
As she posed for a selfie in the lift at the studios, she captioned the story: "Yes....It has to be done!"
As she posed in various outfits from her clothing range, she then wrote: "All my own work".
