Prince William visits Wrexham’s The Turf pub made famous by Ryan Reynolds after Palace gives update on Kate’s recovery
PRINCE William has today visited a pub made famous by Ryan Reynolds - just hours after the Palace gave an update on his wife's recovery.
The heir, 41, beamed as he stood in at Wrexham's The Turf - which has become known for drawing in big names.
William has a smile ear-to-ear as he poured a pint - and trialled some of it, too.
The prince was yesterday seen for the first time this week after visiting London's Western Marble Arch Synagogue - before sharing a message from him and Kate.
Today he was all smiles as he chatted to locals in the much-loved pub.
Hollywood star Reynolds, who owns the club, often frequents the boozer, and Will Ferrell has enjoyed a pint in there, too.

A-lister Paul Rudd was also snapped sipping drinks with locals last year as well.
William headed into the pub, which sits next to Wrexham AFC, to hear about the successes in the local community.
He listened to how the club and pub had had an impact on the area.
The prince was then set to head to a nearby school to join St. David’s Day celebrations and chat about Welsh history and culture.
He was also planning to visit the memorial of the Gresford Mining Disaster, recognising those who lost their lives 90 years ago.
The future King's visit comes just hours after the Palace gave an update on Princess Kate's health.
Crazed speculation was sparked this week about the mum-of-three's progress after her planned abdominal surgery in January.
Prince William was forced to pull out of an engagement on Tuesday just 30 minutes before - leaving the public fearing for Kate's health.
Today was William's second appearance since the Palace said he would return to public work after he pulled out of the thanksgiving service.
The palace initially refused to elaborate on the reason for his no-show but cited a “personal matter” and urged people not to “panic”.
But it led to the palace having to dismiss “wild conspiracy theories” that spiralled out of control and reiterate they were clear Kate would be "out until after Easter".
A royal spokesperson has since laid out the Princess of Wales' timeline for her return in a bid to stop crazy theories.
The royal spokesperson said: “Kensington Palace made it clear in January the timelines of the Princess’ recovery and we’d only be providing significant updates.
"That guidance stands.”

They did, however, add that Kate continues to do "well".
The public were pleased to today see Wills smiling at the Wales pub - which has been making headlines for months.
Reynolds, who bought the National League football club back in 2020, last year put £2,000 behind the bar at The Turf.
Following the victory, one fan told the Sunday Mirror: "Ryan wanted the celebration to be one to remember.
"It was a lovely gesture."
Landlord Wayne Jones said Ryan is even letting him use his £4.3m home in New York for a holiday.
Wayne said: "He has really embraced the Wrexham community."

Anchorman star Ferrell also popped along to the pub last year, stunned fans by coming into the boozer and having a cheeky pint with them before a clash.
Just months later Hollywood star Rudd was snapped beaming with a beer in hand before he joined Reynolds and Rob McElhenney to watch the Welsh club.
