Nigel Harman will return to Strictly dancefloor in just two weeks time after quitting on medical grounds
NIGEL Harman is heading back to Strictly Come Dancing, having been given a role in the show's grand final.
Despite having to withdraw from the competition after sustaining an injury, the Casualty actor will be given a special party to play.
Nigel, 50, and his partner Katya Jones, 34 had to pull out of Strictly Come Dancing after he hurt his rib during rehearsals.
On the show, he explained: "I was leaping off a rostrum and was about to be caught by some handsome men, and as I flew I was Peter Pan and as I landed I was in A&E.
"I've done something to my rib, it's quite painful and I'm a little bit high on painkillers but I'm having a lovely time."
But now a show insider has seemingly insisted that the personality will return to the programme for the finale.

A source told the Mail: "It is always sad when a contestant leaves the show, particularly when an injury is sustained.
"Nigel will be well missed by those who have worked alongside him on the show and everyone wishes him the very best and looks forward to seeing him at the final on Saturday 16th December."
The Sun previously revealed that Nigel and Katya were leaving the show, just hours before they were due to take to the dancefloor.
He was due to perform a Charleston to Step in Time from Disney's Mary Poppins on the BBC One musical themed quarter-finals.
A source said: "Nigel wasn't in training this morning, and other dancers were informed later on in the day. He and Katya were really disappointed as they were hoping to stay in the competition.
"They hadn't been in the bottom two so had a real chance of making it to the finals.
"Nigel has been training really hard and really threw himself into rehearsals."
A BBC spokesperson said: "Unfortunately Nigel has sustained a rib injury which means he is unable to perform in tonight’s show and has had to withdraw from Strictly."
