Gift-giving expert shares 3 Christmas presents women don’t want and you need to ditch anti-ageing skincare for a start
A GIFT giving expert has shared the three presents you should never buy a woman for Christmas.
So if there’s a special lady in your life and you aren’t sure what to get her this December, you’ll need to pay attention.
Leah, who is known online as ‘The Gift Girl’, explained that anti-ageing skincare is a massive no no, and if you don’t want to appear rude or ‘offensive’ this festive season, you might want to take notes.
Leah, who is from Dallas, Texas, took to social media to reveal the gifts you should leave on the shelf this season, as she said: “Gifts that you should never gift women - unless they specifically ask for these items, these could definitely be seen as offensive or send the wrong message.
“Hi, my name is Leah and I'm a gift giving expert. Let's unwrap it!”
According to Leah, you should never give cleaning supplies to someone at Christmas, as she claimed: “Household cleaning supplies of any kind. If it can be perceived as a chore, this definitely sends the wrong message. Gifts are supposed to be happy.”

Not only this, but she also shared why you mustn't buy someone a pair of scales, as she continued: “A scale, supplements, weight loss or weight gain items are a big no.
“This could be taken as downright offensive.
“And I know what you're thinking. Who does this? According to the comments in my other videos, way more than you think.”
Finally, when it comes to gifting skincare, Leah added: “Don't get me wrong, I love a good skincare regimen, and I think there's a place for that, but anti-ageing specifically sends the wrong message.”
The gift giving pro then concluded: “All of these items could definitely be considered a great gift if they are asked for, or if you know them well enough to know that they would actually like these items.
“But I wouldn't just guess.”
The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @leahsgiftguide, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly amassed 50,100 views.
Social media users were left divided at Leah’s recommendations and many took to the comments to share their thoughts.
One person said: “My in-laws gave me a scale when I was 6 weeks postpartum with my first baby. Downright offensive is accurate.”
Another added: “Yikes. I thought you were going to say kitchen appliances and things like nice vacuums. But these were a whole other level.”
A third commented: “Just gave a gal pal some anti-aging skincare for birthday. She was ecstatic.”
Meanwhile, someone else wrote: “I want a bougie vacuum cleaner this year. I told my husband and he asked if he was allowed to do that.”
At the same time, another user penned: “Do not agree on cleaning items. Money is tight for everyone, a huge box/bottle of laundry soap, dish soap, etc can be welcome. Better than junk.”

Whilst a beauty fan claimed: “As a skincare girlie - please don’t not gift them some random stuff. Better [to] buy a product they already like, because skincare is super individual!!”
