My ‘shadow’ trick will make your under-eye bags disappear – add a 2-step method to make your eyebrows look fuller too
A MAKEUP artist with an attention to detail has shared a few of his simple beauty hacks to have a quick glow up.
He revealed a trick to make your under-eye bags disappear and his unique method for fuller eyebrows.
Make-up artist Wayne Goss revealed to The U.S. Sun several beauty tricks to elevate your facial features with minimal effort.
THICKER BROWS
If you're currently dealing with "barely-there" eyebrows, then this tip is for you.
Goss has a simple ways to make your eyebrows look thicker.
He suggested using a tinted eyebrow gel to get a bold effect, and that's not all.
"You should brush your eyebrows in a downward stroke, then stroke up,” he added.
When coupled with his two-step method, they "add both thickness and volume."
BYE BYE UNDER-EYE
Next, he revealed a few of his famous eye makeup tricks to take away the appearance of eye bags or dark circles.
First, you need to make sure that you have the right products for this anti-aging tip.
He recommended taking a concealer that is just one shade lighter than your skin tone, and apply it over the shadow that your eye bag creates.
He warned that it was "very important" to not put it on the actual eye bag iteself.
"This will give an illusion that the eye bags aren’t there," he explained.
Goss prefers cream concealer over liquids because they serve many purposes.
"I’d highly recommend applying some on the inner corner of your eye, as that’s the one part of the eye that doesn’t crease,” he added.
In additon, there are cosmetics-related buys to avoid that may be aging your face.
Avoid metallic eyeshadows and opt for a matte, natural tone instead.
"Matte generally works best as it doesn’t draw attention to wrinkled areas or creases," he said.
Also, powder is easier to apply over cream because it blends better with a good quality brush.
Goss explained that splurging on a quality brush will blend hooded eyes and fine lines better.
"Never blend eyeshadow with a finger," he added.
PERFECT POUT
Lastly, he revealed his lipstick hack to get "fuller lips without lip filler."
He said it “works everytime," so it's time to put it to the test.
To start, only put lipstick on the bottom part of your lip.
