Strictly’s Giovanni Pernice says he ‘fears career ending’ as he supports family financially amid Amanda Abbingdon drama
GIOVANNI Pernice has revealed he fears his 'career ending' amidst the Amanda Abbingdon drama.
The Strictly Come Dancing professional, 33, will hold talks with bosses of the BBC show this week on his future.
It comes as The Sun revealed a fourth celebrity partner was left in tears after a run in with the Italian pro backstage on spin-off show, It Takes Two.
Amanda Abbington, Ranvir Singh and Laura Whitmore have previously met to “compare notes” about his behaviour backstage in February.
During the final episode of his Spanish travel series with Anton Du Beke, Giovanni opened up on his future.
He told the Strictly judge: "Obviously there is a fear that everything is going to finish at some point.

"I support me, I support my family back in Sicily financially.
"So obviously there is a fear that if I stop, everyone else stops because of me."
Giovanni is being backed by the BBC and is expected to be returning to the show in the autumn.
A source previously said: “Giovanni has a meeting with Strictly on Thursday about his return later this year.
“They have not received any official complaints and are backing him.
“He is an accomplished pro dancer and it’s expected he will be taking his place in the formal line-up when it’s announced later this month.”
Amanda Abbingdon shocked Strictly fans last year when she departed the competition on 'medical grounds'.
