Here are the countries that recognize a Palestinian state

Norway, Spain and Ireland said Wednesday they were moving to recognize a Palestinian state, joining 140 countries that already do.

The move by the three European nations infuriated Israel, which recalled its ambassadors from the three countries.

While the move is symbolic, the countries said they hoped the recognition would further work toward a two-state solution.
