A LIP reader has revealed what Wills said to an excited Prince Louis after his sweet gesture at the VE Day parade.

As Prince Louis, seven, took his seat alongside dad Wills, he showed off some adorable dance moves.

He moved his shoulders from side to side as he looked out into the crowd.

The youngster was then spotted affectionately brushing raindrops of his father's shoulder.

Prince William turned towards his son and appeared to give him a tap on the leg.

Louis then said to William “Wasn't this suppose to be fun” and his dad replied “It is son".

The professional also shared a sweet message from Princess Kate.

The mum-of-three said to her daughter, 10: "Doesn't papa look smart today”.

It comes as the family joined King Charles and Queen Camilla to watch the poignant parade with thousands along The Mall today.

Princess Anne was also spotted arriving at the ceremony by car, as were Prince Edward and his wife Sophie.

Troops have begun parading along Whitehall and The Mall, in front of thousands of fans, members of the royal family, veterans, and senior officials.

In a touching moment, King Charles was seen saluting cavalry members as they rode by the stage, set out at the Victoria Monument in front of Buckingham Palace.

The King rose tall to pay his respects to the armed forces, with whom the royal family have such a deep connection with.

The King and Queen said previously they were "looking forward" to the week's events.
