She has seen clients make two mistakes far too often.
1. WHERE DO I APPLY BROW PENCIL?
Patchy eyebrows, or brows with bald spots, are a common problem.
But people are fixing it all wrong. She implored beauty fans to change bad habits.
- STOP applying pencil to brow areas where they have hair.
- START applying pencil to parts of the brow that lacks hair
2. HOW DO I SELECT THE CORRECT EYEBROW COLOR?
In her video, Laura's client had blonde hair.
But she didn't reach for a blonde brow pencil.
Instead, Laura used a pencil that matched the client's brow color and not the hair color.
In this case, she used a black colored pencil to fill in the gaps.
It seems counter-intuitive, but trust the process she said.
“Choose a brow color that matches your brow color not your hair color. In most cases it’s darker than you think.

“It’s going to look exactly like her brow hair, creating brows even and balanced," said Laura.

Where:
- Focus on parts of the brow that is patchy and not on areas that have hair
What:
- Use a pencil color that matches existing brows and not hair color
How:
- Apply hair-like strokes to areas of the brow that are patchy and bald
