I spent $1million on an engagement ring for porn star Savannah Bond before we abruptly ended, says Ryan Garcia

RYAN GARCIA claimed he spent $1million on a ring for porn star Savannah Bond before splitting up abruptly.

Garcia had boxing chiefs and fans concerned for his wellbeing before his pay-per-view fight against Devin Haney in April.

The American caused concern with a string of wild social media claims with his antics hitting the headlines.

He claimed to have proposed to Savannah before going onto beat Haney in a stunning upset.

But Garcia - who has since been embroiled in a doping scandal - was later seen with other women despite his supposed engagement.

The boxer was a guest on Jake Paul's podcast and remained coy on his relationship with Savannah.

He refused to reveal where they met or confirm if they are actually together but did suggest he spent over $1m on a ring for her.

Garcia, 25, said: "Wasn't my best move."

Paul, 27, then asked: "Did you already break up?"

And Garcia said: "Yeah." Before adding: "Shout out to Savannah Bond."

But later in the podcast, Garcia FaceTimed Savannah and Paul probed "How long have you been dating?"

Garcia answered: "We're not dating." Before seconds later saying to Savannah: "Baby, my girlfriend, what are you doing?"

Ryan Garcia insists 'I've never taken steroids' as boxer 'tests positive for banned PED' after win over Devin Haney

It left Paul and his podcast co-hosts baffled.

Garcia floored Haney, 25, three times in the fight but was unable to win the WBC super-lightweight title after coming in over 3lb overweight.

And controversy continued to strike post-fight after it was revealed Garcia tested positive for the banned substance ostarine.

Ostarine is a banned substance used to increase lean body mass and improve physical function.

Garcia has protested his innocence and puts the failed test down to a tainted supplement.

The star - who did pass pre-fight drug tests - returned the positive result from samples taken the night before and on fight night.

He now faces the result being overturned to a no-contest and receiving a suspension.

But Garcia said: "At the end of the day, I don't do steroids, never did steroids in my life. Barely take supplements...

"I'm clean throughout the whole f***ing camp and then supposedly I pop heavy the day before and after?"
