I’m a skin doctor – my 3p anti-ageing trick & the gym sin that’s the worst thing you can do for your face
MILLIONS of people worldwide splash out every day on pricey products that claim to be able to turn back the clock.
But according to one skincare expert, there's a budget 3p hack to help keep your visage looking young, plump and wrinkle-free.
Dr Mahsa Saleki, at SAS-Aesthetics, said that one of her top tips is to use aspirin on the skin.
According to Dr Saleki, aspirin contains "pure salicylic acid" and works as an exfoliant and an anti-inflammatory.
And as you can get a pack of 16 aspirin for 30p from Boots - the hack will set you back just 3p a pop.
However, it's vital to conduct a patch test first, to ensure the aspirin doesn't cause a reaction on the skin.

Dr Saleki also shared some of the biggest skincare mistakes people make when it comes to working out.
Firstly, don't forget your SPF if you're a fan of outdoor workouts like running or walking.
"Exercising outdoors without sunscreen can accelerate skin aging," she said.
"UV rays break down collagen and elastin, leading to premature aging, including fine lines, wrinkles, and sagging skin.
"It can also cause hyperpigmentation, giving the skin a dull, aged appearance."
It's also important to make sure that you cleanse your skin after a workout.
"Sweat, dirt, and bacteria can accumulate on your skin's surface during exercise, and if left uncleansed, they can clog your pores," she explained.
"This can lead to the development of acne, as the clogged pores become inflamed and infected."
One massive error that Dr Saleki sees often is women who wear make-up to the gym.
"As you exercise and sweat, makeup can mix with sweat and oil, clogging your pores," she said.
"This can lead to breakouts, as the trapped debris and bacteria can cause inflammation and acne.
"Additionally, make-up can create a barrier on your skin, preventing proper sweat evaporation.
The importance of sun cream in your skincare routine
Dermatologist and skincare enthusiast Andrea Suarez - known as Dr Dray - revealed why you should wear suncream.
The one thing you can do that will make the biggest difference - and this matters for all ages - is protecting your skin from the sun, Andrea stressed.
"The vast majority of external aging is due to exposure to ultraviolet radiation," she continued, not because you're "not using some jazzy serum or layering 90 different things on your face everyday".
"If you're not doing in your 20s, get on that now."
But she said the use of sun cream alone doesn't go far enough. Andrea urged that you also wear sun-protective clothing like broad-brimmed hats and long sleeves, on top of not staying out too long in the sun.
Doing this over your lifetime - and all year, not just during the summer or on sunny days - "will reduce the visible signs of photoageing", Andrea said.
Those are wrinkles, muddled pigmentation and sagging skin.
"This can trap bacteria and toxins on the skin's surface, potentially leading to further skin issues."
Finally, Dr Saleki insisted that one of the biggest skincare tricks to stick to is to "drench the skin".
"One of the key functions of water is to flush out toxins from the body," she explained.

"When you're properly hydrated, your body is better able to eliminate waste and toxins through urine and sweat.
"However, when you don't drink enough water, these toxins can build up in your body, leading to various skin issues such as acne, inflammation, and dullness."
