My son’s school profile me because I’m a young, cool mum with tattoos – trolls say it’s because I have an attitude
A MUM has claimed she's been profiled by her son's school because of her age and face tattoos.
Angelina, from the US, took to social media reliving the stressful experience and explained it seemed that the school would do anything to make her life more difficult.
She said: "So obvious that my son's school profiles me, and I'm not sure if it's just because I'm the youngest mum here or if it's because I have tattoos and, like, I don't dress, like, because I dress the way I do."
The single mum went on to say she has had problem after problem with the school - and claims it's all because of the way she looks.
"They're trying to prove me to be the way that they view me," she added.
The mum listed an array of problems with the school - from them being 'difficult' in letting her tour the school to where she can park to pick her son up.
Another time she revealed she had to drop him off late because of a doctor appointment and was treated poorly by the school's receptionist.
She explained: "First thing the receptionist says to me is, 'where's mum?'
"Like, I can, like, it's so passive aggressive and so unnecessary."
Angelina has also had issues with teachers commenting on her parenting style.
"A staff member from the school looked at me and goes, 'I understand that you're a new mum and this is your first time, and this could be overwhelming, but this is how most parents do this," she recalled.
Shocked by the comment, Angelina questioned if other young mums had similar issues.
The video posted to her TikTok account @angelinugh soon went viral with over 14million views and two million likes.
Parents seemed totally divided in the comments section with some claiming it could be her attitude to blame.
One person wrote: "It's the neck tattoo. How can anyone not instantly know it's the neck tattoo."
Another commented: "I think it’s the neck tattoo if your gonna get one be prepared lol."
"You seem attitudey too though," penned a third.
Meanwhile a fourth said: "I feel this for being a teen mum they always treat you and act different when they see you."
"They’re intimidated by you. Let them be,” claimed a fifth.
