But with so many kids living under one roof, arguments are bound to happen - and as now revealed in the hit series, 22 Kids and Counting on Channel 5, it looks like this might be the last time they're all together.

Although Sue, who first fell pregnant aged just 14, was determined to make sure this Christmas was extra special, the family was rocked by a number of unexpected challenges and announcements - including a shock move to Australia.

During the episode, one of their offsprings, Daniel, revealed that he had decided to pack his bags and start a new life thousands of miles away from home.

After having a thorough research online, the 24-year-old discovered he'd be raking in a whopping £60k/year with his new job, and a new chapter on the sunny East Coast just made sense for him.

But although Daniel wasn't too sure what reaction to expect from the rest of the family, the news was welcome - albeit with great sadness from Sue, who was still happy for his son nonetheless.

At the end of the day, she admitted, it's whatever makes the kids happy that matters the most - even if it means leaving the nest.

However, this was not the only issue tearing the Lancashire-based family apart - for a while, there had been some great tension between two of Sue and Noel's kids, Chloe and Luke.

According to the mum-of-22, the siblings hadn't spoken for 18 months after falling out over a shelf of frozen pies at the Radford family bakery.

The dispute had become so bitter that the matriarch had even decided to ask a trained intervention counsellor to step in, in a desperate bid to the two talking again in time for Christmas.

"To see them not speaking has been really, really hard," Sue said.

"Especially as when we look back over the years and see how close Luke and Chloe were.

"But they are both very strong willed and stubborn,'' she recently opened up.

"The longer it goes on, the harder it gets," Noel added in an interview with the Daily Mirror.

"There has been no backing down first. It’s not nice to see them not talking to each other."

But did it pay off in the end?

Luckily for Sue - and the rest of the bumper brood who reportedly don't rely on benefits - the efforts were worthwhile, as the family were all reunited in their huge home, after Chloe, 28, arrived with her first-born Mila to join the celebrations.

However, there was one more surprise for the Britain's largest family - one that Daniel had hidden in a cracker.

Although he still had intentions to leave the UK for Australia, he had already booked a flight back to see his parents and siblings next Christmas, leaving a huge smile on Sue's face.

The show also revealed what's in store for the family in the future - and looks like there is more drama to follow, with break-ups, a new home, teenagers growing up and kids getting lost.
