MAFS expert admits he’s sickened by ‘worst thing’ he’s ever heard on the show

MARRIED At First Sight Australia expert John Aiken was left repulsed by the "worst thing" he'd ever heard on the show.

The relationship guru was left utterly disgusted by contestant Jack Dunkley after hearing comments he had made about one of the programme's brides.

Jack had made a shocking comment on the E4 show in which he suggested to co-star Jono that he "muzzle" his wife, Lauren.

It led to a showdown between the pair as Jack admitted that his wording alluded to referring to Lauren as "a dog".

Bringing up the moment during the commitment ceremony, John said: "I heard something last night that was appalling."

Jono had seemed unfazed by the comments as he failed to defend his wife with Jack also seemingly caring very little by the suggestion that Lauren could be "muzzled".

Flabbergasted, John raged at the pair as he said: "If someone said that to me about my wife, I would not back down.

"I would come out full throttle, all guns blazing.

"She spoke up, she was called a dog. But you weren't upset by it!"

John continued: "I was disgusted by it, 'put a muzzle on that woman'. I've heard some things in this experiment that have repulsed me.

"That was one of the worst things I've heard.

"It's simply not good enough. If you're in that position again I want you to speak up.

"It's your responsibility to call out bad behaviour."

Jack later admitted remorse as he insisted he had "lost sleep" over the comment after likening Lauren to a dog.

However, attention quickly turned to Jack's wife Tori who also appeared unfazed that her hubby had said such a malicious comment.

Tori was left defending him as she attempted to suggest that it was not in his nature to normally use such degrading language - something that was quickly shot down as false by expert Mel Schilling.

Tori said to the group: "I'm not dismissing or discounting the comment. It was disgusting. But it doesn't come natural for Jack to talk like that."

Mel butted in to insist passionately: "It seemed very natural. It seemed like a reflex."

Tori struggled to make sense of what she was saying as Jack remained quiet at the suggestion that he found it natural to be consistently degrading.

He appeared unbothered by any questions thrown toward his behaviour as the conversation drew to a close.

Jack had previously raised eyebrows after commenting that he was hoping to "dominate" Tori in their marriage and suggested she would be "a good girl" after he had "sorted her out".

As Tori was left gushing after meeting her new husband, Jack said to the camera: "She seems sweet. I think she'll challenge me a little bit, but I definitely reckon I'll sort her out, and we'll have a good time."

"I definitely want to play that dominant role to Tori; it might be a bit of a power struggle. But I feel like she's gonna be a good girl."
