Yes, that's right - according to cash-savvy foodies, the popular chain Wetherspoons is now offering a bargain deal, serving a full English for £1.99.

The incredible offer, which is available at Wetherspoons' pubs across England and Wales, has slashed the cost of the small breakfast to £1.99, whilst the traditional breakfast sells for £2.99, Mirror reported.

Usually, these popular menu items would set food lovers back at around £3.29 and £3.59, respectively - however, it's worth noting that Wetherspoons prices vary across its different locations.

A pint of Bud Light and Doom Bar is now on sale at an average price of £1.99, whilst a Spoons classic cocktail goes for £2.99.

Meanwhile, a bottle of Beck's Blue is on offer for £1.49 and Pepsi Max has been slashed to £1.49, whilst refillable Lavazza coffee, tea and hot chocolate are now available for £1.29, Manchester Evening News reported.

Savings to be made on food items include a small breakfast - which comes with fried egg, bacon, sausage, baked beans and toast - for £1.99, while their burgers are reduced to £4.99 with a soft drink; those opting for an alcoholic drink will have to pay £6.46.

Wetherspoon founder and chairman Tim Martin said: "Department stores and shops hold their sales in January, so it is the perfect time to have a sale in the pubs too.

''The range of drinks and food on sale in the pubs is aimed at suiting a wide variety of tastes.

''This year we have included our biggest selection of low and non-alcoholic drinks.

''I believe that the January Sale will prove popular with our customers. As always, staff at the pubs will serve customers responsibly."

However, if you want to treat yourself to a cheap pub breakfast or a cheeky drink on the weekend, best be quick, as the offer is for a limited time only.

According to the chain, the sale, which kicked off on Tuesday, January 2nd, will end on Wednesday, January 17th.
