    Aston Villa have signed highly-rated goalkeeper Joe Gauci on a four-and-a-half year deal from Adelaide Utd.

    The 23-year-old will act as backup to Emi Martinez.

    Gauci has made 76 appearances for Adelaide since making his debut in 2021.

  • Spurs beat Barcelona to signing

    Tottenham beaten the Catalan giants to the signing of Swedish starlet Lucas Bergvall.

    Ange Postecoglou's side matched the £8m offer Barcelona had made to Djurgarden.

    The player then made the decision to join the North London outfit rather than heading to Spain.

  • Brazilian midfielder completes loan move

    Andrey Santos has completed a loan move to Strasbourg.

    The Chelsea player had a miserable spell at Nottingham Forest before being recalled by the West London club.

    Santos will be hoping to see more game time in Ligue 1.

  • Burnley secure loan signing of defender

    The Clarets have clinched the loan signing of full back Lorenz Assignon from Rennes. 

    He will spend the remainder of the season on loan at Turf Moor.

    Assignon said: “It’s been a long day and it’s been a day of hard decisions but I’m very pleased to be here. 

    “I had a number of clubs to choose from but I spoke to the manager and straight away knew that I wanted to be here.

     “I’m ready to go. It’s the best league in the world and I’m really excited to be a part of it.”

  • Lyon continue strong transfer window

    The Ligue 1 side have confirmed that Orel Mangala has joined the club on loan with an option to purchase the player.

    Lyon will pay a €10m loan fee for the former Stuttgart and then will have an option of €20m to purchase the player permanently.

    Mangala could be in line for his debut against Marseille on Sunday.

  • Former Red Devil set for surprise move

    Jesse Lingard is looking to sign for South Korean side FC Seoul.

    It is reported by Sky Sports that he is thought to be completing a two-year deal with the option for an additional year.

    Lingard has been a free agent since parting ways with Nottingham Forest last summer.

    Having spent ten years at the club, the 18-year-old is now going to start a new journey on the south coast.

    West Brom have made their third signing of the transfer window, securing Celtic's Mikey Johnston on loan.

    The winger has only made three starts for the Scottish side this season, scoring twice in a Boxing Day win over Dundee.

  • Transfer window will reveal Mbappe decision

    Once the transfer window is closed, it is believed that Kylian Mbappe will announce where he plans to head in the summer.

    The striker has an agreement with PSG not to do so until the closure of the window while they negotiate a new TV deal.

    Many are thinking that once this passes, Mbappe will announce that he is joining Real Madrid on a free transfer in the summer.

  • Loan news from North London

    Alejo Veliz has accepted the chance to go on loan to Sevilla for the rest of the season.

    Meanwhile Bryan Gil has turned down the chance to go to Brighton on loan and wants to fight for his place at Tottenham.

    Gil is enjoying the Postecoglou era and has shown he is happy to stay in North London.

  • Tottenham and Newcastle after Egyptian ace

    Both Premier League sides are interested in securing the services of Omar Marmoush from Eintracht Frankfurt.

    The Egyptian striker has 12 goals and 3 assists in all competitions this season.

    It is unlikely that a deal will be struck in this window, meaning Champions League qualification could be the deciding factor on which of the clubs is successful in their pursuit of Marmoush.

    Bournemouth striker Kieffer Moore has joined Ipswich Town on loan for the remainder of the season.

    He previously had a spell with the Tractor Boys back in 2017.

    Moore made 11 appearances for Ipswich but did not score a goal.

    Aston Villa have terminated the contract of Bertrand Traore.

    The Burkina Faso player has decided to sign for Villarreal.

    He made 55 appearances for the Midlands club after signing from Lyon in a £17m deal.

    Bournemouth have signed Enes Unal from Getafe.

    The striker has passed his medical at the Vitality Stadium and will give Andoni Iraola more attacking options.

    Unal's loan deal has an obligation to buy the player for £14m.

    Meanwhile, the club have sanctioned Kieffer Moore's loan move to Ipswich Town as a result.

    Nottingham Forest are close to confirming the signing of Matz Sels from Strasbourg.

    The 31-year-old Belgian has made six appearances for his country.

    The Catalan outfit have made a bid of €10 million for Djurgardens’ teenage midfield sensation, Lucas Bergvall. 

    Tottenham are also interested in the player but it is believed that Barcelona do not want to be drawn into a bidding war.

    Dejan Kulusevski has been trying to persuade his compatriot to head to the capital but as it stands, the player has not given a decision to either club.

  • Bristol City sign midfielder Bird

    Max Bird has completed a permanent transfer to the Robins.

    With plenty of clubs interested in the player, Bristol City have stolen a march on the player with the deal being completed.

    City are immediately loaning the player back to Derby for the remainder of the season.
