Love Island’s Chris Taylor reveals he hasn’t spoken to ex Maura Higgins since their bitter split
LOVE Island All Stars cast member Chris Taylor is looking for love after his brutal breakup with fellow islander Maura Higgins.
In hopes he will be lucky in love the second time around, the reality star is set to be back on our screens with the All Stars spin-off version next week.
Chris Taylor, who rose to fame on the series in 2019, will have his eyes peeled for any ex's in the new programmes line-up - and not because he is hoping to rekindle any love affairs.
In fact, Chris seems to have his fingers crossed that he doesn't run into any familiar faces - especially his previous reality show flame.
Chatting to ITV before heading into the villa, Chris admitted that he hadn't even spoken to his ex and Love Island favourite, Maura Higgins.
He explained: "I am really hoping that no one I have slept with is
in there, as that’s going to be uncomfortable.

"I am not sure how I would deal with my ex being in there as we haven’t spoken since we split up."
The pair went their separate ways in 2021, after just six months of dating.
After months of speculation, Maura confirmed their romance during her30th birthday week.
Chris said of their blossoming relationship at the time: "Turns out I fell in love with my best mate."
Just months later, they revealed they had split as they "work better as friends".
The pair shared separate statements saying claiming there was "no wrongdoing" on either side.
They both also insisted that they "still love, care and respect" each other.
Since then, Chris has not been publicly linked to anyone.
Whilst initially starring on Love Island, Chris took Maura and Belle Hassan on first dates in episode 33.
He then went on to pursue Amber Gill, with the unlikely pair bonding over Harry Potter and the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
Chris then went on a date with new girl India Reynolds, but lost her to Ovie Soko, before finally finding a spark with Harley Brash.
The villa joker was eliminated from the competition in episode 45 with partner Harley and fellow Islanders Jordan Hames and Anna Vakili.
